Peter F. Michaelson

As a litigator and judicial officer for over 40 years Pete has learned that nothing focuses the mind of litigants more than the prospect of an impending trial. Judge Michaelon (ret) has mastered the process of helping parties focus on the real issues likely to be determinative at trial or final hearing through his practical, no-nonsense, approach to problem solving.

Donald M. Ostrander​

Donald M. Ostrander has been in practice since 1982. He maintains a real estate litigation practice, with a focus on eminent domain and condemnationtrials, inverse condemnation, land use matters, urban renewal projects, regulatory takings, and conservation easements. Current and past clients include the City of Black Hawk, City of Thornton, City of Arvada, City of Westminster, City of Boulder, City of Aurora, City of Golden, City of Lafayette, E-470 Public Highway Authority, Summit County, Douglas County, Weld County, Town of Gypsum, Pagosa Springs, Sheridan Redevelopment Authority, Aurora Urban Renewal Authority, Colorado Department of Transportation, Regional Transportation District, Entrega Gas Pipeline Company, Federal Heights and numerous private landowners.

John Dingess

Mr. Dingess is available as a mediator or expert witness regarding all manner of water rights, water law, and drainage issues including Water Court matters, regulatory and administration issues, ownership and property aspects, and ditch company operations and easements. 

Lori A. Argo, Paralegal​

Ms. Argo graduated from Mount Marty College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law.  Since 1996 she has been working as Donald M. Ostrander’s legal assistant/paralegal.  Ms. Argo’s experience as a paralegal in the field of eminent domain and condemnation matters is unmatched.  Her duties include interacting with clients, experts, opposing counsel, helping the attorneys prepare various motions/pleadings prior to and for trial, attends meetings, trials and hearings, and communicates with the various court division clerks and law clerks on an as needed basis.  She is also responsible for scheduling and attending meetings and coordinating court schedules.  Ms. Argo is familiar with the rules and procedures required in assisting the attorneys in preparing and filing all documents in a timely and efficient manner with all the District Courts in the Denver Metropolitan area, the Court of Appeals, Supreme Court and the United States Federal Court.
